Samarth Luthra is an Advocate registered with the Bar Council of Delhi, and a Registered Foreign Lawyer in England & Wales. He holds an LL.M. from the London School of Economics & Political Science and is a vital cog in the workings of Chambers of Kaushik & Luthra, where his work is focused on litigation, service law, public law, commercial disputes, insolvency, consumer disputes, arbitration-related court work, criminal law, and legal writing.

His practice is before courts, tribunals, and regulatory forums in Delhi and the NCR, including the High Court of Delhi, the Central Administrative Tribunal, the National Company Law Tribunal, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, District Courts, Consumer Commissions, and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums as required by the matter.

Service law forms an important part of his work within the Chambers and is central to the Chambers’ wider litigation identity. His work in this area is closely connected with the Chambers’ broader service-law practice before the Central Administrative Tribunal, the High Court of Delhi, and the Supreme Court of India. His civil and commercial practice encompasses contractual disputes, recovery proceedings, property-related matters, injunctions, consumer claims, cheque dishonour proceedings, arbitration-related applications, and disputes arising from business and commercial relationships. His insolvency practice includes representing financial creditors, operational creditors, corporate debtors, and related parties, and he is empanelled as a Panel Counsel for the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) for insolvency proceedings before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). His work in criminal law, particularly his success in obtaining bail for clients in high-profile corruption matters, has been widely reported by leading national newspapers and news portals, including Dainik Bhaskar.

Before joining active practice, Samarth Luthra trained in litigation and judicial chambers connected with the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Delhi. His early legal experience included exposure to civil disputes, commercial litigation, arbitration, public law, criminal law, regulatory issues, and court-facing legal research.

He has also worked on infrastructure-dispute issues involving dispute-resolution frameworks, lenders’ interests, and Model Concession Agreements in national highway projects. A report connected with that work was later published by Niti Manthan.

He also co-authored a report on the psycho-social and legal impact of the North-east Delhi riots in 2020, which was noted by the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
